For the past few days, I've been making some progress on The Outbreak Story. This won't be a big update, but I do have an announcement at the end. Keep reading to find out what that announcement is. First things first, I added another campfire scene! (check the original tweet here) And I finally made an in-game sprite for Aster, a major character in the game's story. Here it is: For comparison's sake, here's the mugshot I made a few years ago: That's it as far as progress goes. However, I said that I had an announcement, so let's get into that before wrapping things up. I am officially making pixel art for Catjitsu now. Catjitsu is a game by BountyXSnipe, one of my close online friends. The game stars a talking kitten named Amber who is also a "non-lethal ninja". According to Bounty, the game is heavily inspired by both Enter the Gungeon and CrossCode and it will be made in the Unity engine. My role in the game's development is to help with animations, design monsters and make environmental assets (such as tilesets). This is one of the sprites I've made for the game. It's a redesign of an old enemy, the Turret Spider. Here it is: Check out Bounty's Twitter (@BountyXSnipe) for further updates on the game.
