I have been making some more progress on The Outbreak Story since the last progress update, so it's time for a new update. Enjoy! First, there's a new area. A train station! (check the original tweet here) The train may look familiar to people who have been keeping up with the game's development since before I launched this site. A fairly big portion of the game's plot will take place aboard a train, and it's been at least 2 years (probably longer, I just can't remember) since I drew the pixel art for the train. So I reshaded it and made some slight changes to the design. Here's the old pixel art for comparison: And I added a new boss to the game. Though it's more of a miniboss. It ambushes the party while they're traveling across the sea on a boat. If you've made it this far and are reading this, thanks a lot! Please consider following me on Twitter (@BasMakesGames) or checking out the demo for the game on Itch.io or GameJolt. If you would like to get in touch, become a tester or get notified whenever I post something about the game including progress updates, join the Discord.
Greetings, and stay safe! -Bas
