It's been a while since I last shared progress on The Outbreak Story. But I have been working on the game over the past two months, and I think this is as good a time as any to show off some of the progress I've made. I have added two new areas to the game. The first area that I want to show off is the Berlin Central Station, or Berlin Hauptbahnhof. While designing the station, I used a lot of real-life photos of the station's exterior and interior as a reference, and it took me a long time to get everything to look right. But I'm satisfied with the way it turned out in the end. Here's a screenshot of the main railway platform: And another screenshot of the main railway platform, though this one's indoors: And here's some screenshots of the lower levels: The other area I've been working on is a swamp. Here's some screenshots: And that's it, for now.
If you've made it this far and are reading this, thanks a lot! Please consider following me on Twitter (@BasMakesGames) or checking out the demo for the game on Itch.io or GameJolt. If you would like to get in touch, become a tester or get notified whenever I post something about the game including progress updates, join the Discord. Greetings, and stay safe! -Bas
